    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Procurement to join our team. This strategic leadership position offers an exciting opportunity for an individual with expertise in procurement and logistics to make a significant impact within our growing organization.

    Tasked with overseeing the procurement of all goods for the venues, this role requires a skilled negotiator who can assess the overall landscape of the procurement and purchasing departments, making informed decisions regarding the acquisition of items for the company.

    POSITION DESCRIPTION:

    • Source and cultivate relationships with corporate vendors, emphasizing the promotion of healthy partnerships through continuous feedback.
    • Facilitate the supplier process by establishing agreements for new products from vendors, generating Purchase Orders, and placing orders for food products, small wares, and large equipment.
    • Conduct regular vendor audits to review prices and complete cost-comparison and usage reports.
    • Negotiate contract terms for new vendors and business partners.
    • Administer facility audits to ensure proper procurement standards are in place.
    • Implement and set up the universal inventory guide.
    • Resolve quality and service issues with suppliers by renegotiating contracts or sourcing substitute products or vendors.
    • Serve as a liaison between vendors and the accounts payable department to ensure prompt payment and avoid invoice discrepancies.

    SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

    • Demonstrated experience and understanding of the purchasing philosophy.
    • Proficiency in negotiation.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal departments and external contacts.
    • Capability to manage a heavy workload in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and handle multiple tasks.
    • Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.
    • Must have hospitality and/or restaurant group experience.
    • Must be willing to relocate to Jamaica

    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum tertiary-level education.
    • Training and certification in purchasing or procurement procedures.

    OTHER:

    • Drivers License and Passport are required for the position.
