Job summary

The Certified Emergency Department (ED) Technician-Paramedic performs nonprofessional direct and indirect patient care activities under the supervision of a registered professional nurse and/or licensed medical provider.

Responsibilities

Performs emergency medical services in accordance with the following conditions: Hospital Emergency Department, while moving a patient between the ED and another part of the hospital, only under the direction and supervision of physician, physician assistant designated by a physician, or an RN designated by a physician.
Observes and reports all patient concerns/changes in condition to a registered nurse immediately.
