- Manage collaboration with internal and external support staff regarding all things sales tax related. Answer compliance and registration questions and review all funding related to sales tax payments.
- Lead all sales tax audits, business license audits and refund claims.
- Manage customer exemptions.
- Collaborate with the IT team on system related issues and annual testing.
- Act as the SME for Vertex Database and update the system and set-up as needed.
- Review monthly journal entries as they relate to sales tax.
- Manage the use tax accrual process.
- Manage one direct report.
- Oversee international taxation.
- Ability to research and make decisions independently.
- 5 years of sales and use tax experience
- Exposure to sales tax software - preferably Vertex O
- Solid communication skills and attention to detail

This role will have oversight of the entire sales tax function and the internal/external sales tax staff.
