    Veterinary Technician Assistant – Portland Vet - Stroudwater

    As our new GP clinic opens its doors, we're seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to help deliver exceptional patient and client care in a collaborative and expanding environment.

    This is a

    full-time position

    ~ Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays ( potential for weekends with growth)

    Work in a newly equipped GP facility with in-house labs for CBC, Chemistry, UA, Cytologies, Radiology, and Ultrasound.

    Assist in diagnostics:
    lab sample collection, radiographs, record vitals, perform basic lab work (PCV/TP, urinalysis, etc.)
    Maintain tidy, organized treatment rooms, exam rooms, and supply areas
    Help communicate with clients and provide supportive guidance throughout their visit
    Veterinary assistant with at least 1–2 years of experience in small animal practice
    Proficient knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal handling, and basic medical workflows
    Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills in a fast-paced clinic environment
    Tech-savvy and comfortable learning software like ezyVet or Smartflow
