    Job Description:

    Shift or Schedule Requirements:

    Day Shift (0630-1900), Three twelve hour shifts weekly (36 hours). No guarantee of hours.

    Contract Details:

    15 Week Contract

    General Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide continuous airway management.
    • Ventilator and non-invasive ventilator management and support.
    • Physician consulting, CPR, all aspects of respiratory care.

    Equipment Utilized in the Unit/Dept:

    • Computerized charting.
    • Pyxis medication management.
    • PB 980 Ventilators.
    • PB 840 Ventilators.
    • V60 Ventilators.
    • Para Client Transport Vent.

    Required Skills and Experience:

    • Must be able to care for patients of the adult, pediatric, neonatal populations.
    • Minimum 2 years experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
    • No first assignments allowed.

    Specific Licensures and Certifications/Registrations:

    • RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist).
    • BLS (Basic Life Support).
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
    • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) with NRP preferred.
    • Current Hawaii license preferred, but willing to take with application already submitted for Hawaii license.

    Normal
