Practice Supervisor - Vascular Clinic


Summary:

The Practice Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations and staff of the vascular clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic workflows.

They supervise clinical and administrative personnel, manage schedules, and maintain compliance with clinic policies and regulations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and provide leadership to clinic staff, medical assistants, and administrative personnel
Oversee patient scheduling, room assignments, and clinic flow to maximize efficiency and minimize wait times
Ensure adherence to clinic policies, protocols, and regulatory requirements for patient care and safety
Monitor supply inventory and order medical supplies and equipment as needed
Participate in the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of clinic staff
Address and resolve patient complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care and coordinate treatment plans
Analyze clinic data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process changes as needed
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and documentation
Participate in department meetings and continuously improve clinic operations


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a vascular or related specialty
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and office software applications
Knowledge of medical terminology, regulations, and best practices in clinical operations
