- About the Role: As a Seasonal Waterbus Captain, you will navigate passengers around 8 docks at the Marina, requiring excellent customer service and communication skills. Candidates should have at least 1 year of recent experience as a Captain.
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Operate company vessels legally and safely
- Supervise onboard crew
- Ensure crew and passenger safety
- Handle administrative duties, including computer work and some cash handling
- Complete shipboard logs and reports
- Conduct crew training, drills, and exercises
- Participate in USCG inspections
- Provide narration and announcements over the PA system
- Verify vessels are secured after sailing
- Additional tasks as assigned
- Requirements & Qualifications:
- USCG 25 ton License or higher
- High School diploma or equivalent
- USCG Master Document V
- Valid Medical Certificate
- TWIC card
- FCC Radio Station License
