    Are you detail-oriented and have the ability to navigate workers' compensation regulations? Do you like to build strong relationships with team members, third party administrators, legal, and medical professionals? In this role you will collaborate with key partners to deliver the best medical services to injured team members and return them to work.

    We're looking for someone who is independent, motivated, knowledgeable in state workers' compensation laws, and is efficient at prioritizing tasks.

    What You'll Do


    • Manage the Worker's Compensation and General Liability programs.
    • Collaborate with medical professionals, third party administrators and others to achieve Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI).
    • Identify claim issues as they arise and take appropriate steps to resolve them accordingly.
    • Perform telephonic case management of Workers' Compensation claims that are assigned. Contact injured workers, attorneys, and medical providers in a timely manner to gather relevant information to assist in the investigation and evaluation of the claim.
    • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of loss data to identify correlation between claims and safety incidents. Prepare and present findings to local leadership.
    What We're Looking For

    Bachelor's Degree and 2 years' experience in claims administration; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Knowledge of relevant workers' compensation rules and regulations required.
    Advanced speaking, writing and customer service skills.
    Ability to maintain a calm demeanor.
    Ability to breakdown complex medical and legal terminology into easily understandable language.
    Travel

    No travel is expected of this position.

    ONSITE:
    A team member's day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
