- Prefer to have 1+ years of experience with stone fabrication / Will train if there is no experience
- Safely operate all tools and equipment
- Ability to read templates and follow verbal English instruction to adequately understand tasks.
- Ability to use a tape measure and basic hand tools to edge and polish hard surfaces.
- Ability to safely lift heavy loads with two hands with an assistant on the other side.
- Ability to cut and grindstone using a hand grinder to cut, edge, shape, and sand according to customer specifications. You will hold the weight of a grinder while moving it from side to side, applying pressure to the stone in utilizing primarily upper body and wrist motion and strength for long periods of time.
- Great communication skills with fellow co-workers to promote a safe and efficient workspace.
- Ability to perform bending, lifting, twisting, sitting, turning, stepping, and other various movements in a water-based shop.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
