    This position provides the opportunity for the new team member to be based in either the Murphy USA (El Dorado, AR) or QuickChek (Whitehouse Station, NJ) corporate office.


    The Manager, Media Investment and Optimization will play a pivotal role in developing media investment strategies, implementing plans, and optimizing.

    The Manager will be instrumental in shaping the organization's marketing investment, ensuring effective utilization of resources. This marketing leader will drive impactful campaigns that resonate with the Enterprise - both Murphy USA and QuickChek brands.

    The Manager, Media Investment and Optimization will be a critical leader in the Marketing organization, ensuring an optimal management of the P&L.


    PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


    • Reviews agency media plans ensuring alignment to Enterprise objectives by Brand
    • Leads Media day-to-day and sets the tone for continuous improvement
    • Leverages insights to create strategies to improve targeting and overall performance
    • Collaborates with internal stakeholders - particularly Marketing Activation - to ensure seamless execution of media campaigns
    • Oversees Marketing investment budgets, developing allocation across channels
    • Partners with Analytics on Marketing Optimization (Media / Marketing Mix Modeling) to measure and improve Return on Advertising Spend and Marketing Contribution to the business on a year-over-year basis ,
    • Monitors campaign performance real-time - developing and fine tuning dashboarding and reporting - for continuous improvement of results

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of experience in Media - agency and/or in-house - and business
    • Proficiency in media planning tools and analytics platforms
    • Experience with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Domo, ideally building internal performance marketing measurement and optimization capabilities
    • Strategic-thinker and problem-solver with strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Meticulous and highly organized with strong project management capabilities
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
    • Proactive with a self-starter mentality, strong collaborator and collaborative nature
    • Agility to adapt with shifting priorities and comfortable with ambiguity

    Ideal:
    Experience with large data warehousing environments (e.g., Teradata, Oracle)
