    General Summary:
    The program coordinator provides the following responsibilities to the CCACs HVAC program

    2, INTERNAL AFT WILL HAVE PRIORITY FOR NON-TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS
    Job Duties: 1. Maintain an active membership in RSES (Refrigeration Service Engineers Society), both the International and local chapters. 2. Serve as a Proctor for the EPA exam. 3. Maintain NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Certification. 4. Must have an ICE (Industry Competency exam) Certification. 5. Update lab. equipment, testing equipment and supplies to meet industry standards. 6.

    Maintain an inventory of supplies/consumables for all credit and non-credit classes offered by CCAC that use the Electrical and HAC labs.

    7. Coordinate all CCAC HAC A.S.

    Program courses such that all Adjunct Faculty use the same textbooks, handouts and any other materials to maintain the integrity of the HAC Program at the College.

    8. Repair damaged lab. trainers that are malfunctioning, or coordinate efforts by trainer manufacturer to repair the trainer. 9.

    Upon request from potential employers of our students, provide them with information relative to student abilities and capabilities in the HAC marketplace.

    10. Provide guidance, including on-site attendance, at recruitment efforts by the college. 11. Prepare lab. exercises for the Certificate and A.S. Degree Programs on a continually changing basis according to manufacturer/industries current training requirements. 12. Assist the College in analyzing and preparing materials for green building curriculum/development for the HAC Certificate and A.S. Degree Programs.13. Coordinate among HAC Discipline program faculty assessment and follow-up activities to meet Middle States requirements in this area.14. Coordinate among HAC Discipline faculty four-year program review for the program.15. Review assessment results, facilitate discussion among discipline faculty, and assist with implementing resulting recommendations16. Coordinate meetings with the Advisory Committee for HAC programs and assist with implementing board recommendations.17. Prepare a HAC program report and submit it to the Dean at the end of each semester. 18. Other related duties as required.
