- Onsite position
- Full-time role: 37.5 hours per week
- Duration: August 2024 - June 2025
- Case load handling high school students
- Evaluate students' social, emotional, and academic needs through observation and interviews
- Provide personalized support and therapy to students dealing with personal or social issues
- Develop plans to tackle specific issues like behavioral problems or emotional challenges
- Act as a liaison to ensure everyone is informed and engaged in student well-being
- Assist families in accessing external services such as healthcare, housing, and financial aid
- Create strategies to enhance student attendance and address root causes of absenteeism
- Participate in creating and executing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor students' progress and setbacks, and report to relevant stakeholders
- Active State Social Worker License
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License with School Social Work Endorsement
- Previous school experience preferred
- Hourly Pay: $35-45+ (based on experience)
