    Leidos Defense Systems Sector has an immediate opening for Senior Program Scheduler to support multiple programs in this sector. This role will be an intricate part of the larger enterprise-wide Leidos Corporate Earned Value Management (EVM) Center of Excellence (COE) with significant interface with Program Managers, Contracts, Senior Technical Personnel, and other organizations. The Leidos Corporate EVM COE is a team-leading and executing the core responsibilities of scheduling, planning, EVMS, the associated infrastructure and tools, implementations, training, and surveillance for Leidos.

    The Senior Program Scheduler will be providing hands-on support to the Program Managers, IPTs, Customer Stakeholders, and EVMS support teams; to improve program planning and execution while ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policy and procedures.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Leverage prior program scheduling experience and apply it to develop the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and related artifacts in compliance with applicable standards and policies such as EVM standard EIA-748 and industry best practices (e.g., PASEG, NDIA) in alignment with the mission of the EVM COE and in support of programs.
    • Responsible for implementing practices to align the time phasing and plans for resources with the IMS to provide an integrated technical, schedule, and resource / cost baseline and forecast/ ETC for programs.
    • Participate in new business proposals through scheduling functional support.
    • Serve as a scheduling subject matter expert assisting programs with issue identification/resolution, etc.
    • Implement program scheduling business rhythms,
    • Develop baseline schedules and associated artifacts to meet contractual/project requirements,
    • Monitor, analyze, and report performance against baseline schedules to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met.
    • Provide scheduling support to EVM COE and programs for internal and external audits and reviews and application of resulting corrective actions.
    • Negotiate and develop shared solutions to convince internal and external parties to accept the area's concepts, practices, and approaches.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of program management and program scheduling experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Prior experience supporting DOD or NASA programs.
    • Deep experience with EVMS implementations using Microsoft Project scheduling software (such as MS Project).
    • Excellent communication skills and able to engage program team members across multiple disciplines.
    • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced knowledge of Scheduling tools such as: Structured Solutions Inc. Tools for Microsoft Project, Deltek Cobra, OPDEC Integrated Program Manager, and other Scheduling and EVMS tools/macros.
    • Experience in a Manufacturing & Production environment
    • Scheduling Professional (SP) certification
    • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification
    • Earned Value Profession (EVP) certification
    • Experience with Milestones Professional
    • Familiarization with Schedule Risk Assessments Development & Analysis

    Pay Range:

    Pay Range $87, $157,450.00
