Description

The Diet Clerk position is responsible for obtaining, monitoring, and maintaining correct patient meal orders using the electronic medical record, menus, and diet software as applicable.

Communicates production needs to production team. Ensures patient meals comply with diet orders and meet Lakeview Nutrition Services standards of quality and presentation. Communicates with patients and nursing units via phone providing excellent customer service. Provides nutrition guidance to patients during menu item selection.


Work Schedule:
0.5 FTE M-F hours vary with every other weekend


Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service orientation.


Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications:
