- Develop and implement security protocols and procedures to protect the company's computer networks and systems.
- Identify and mitigate potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Manage the daily operations and effectiveness of security-related tools and services.
- Conduct regular system tests and ensure continuous monitoring of network security.
- Develop strategies to handle security incidents and coordinate incident response activities.
- Provide technical guidance on security matters to the team and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest information security trends and technologies.
- Conduct security awareness training for staff to ensure security across the board.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Prepare and present security reports to management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or similar role in a security-focused environment.
- Knowledge of various security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of various network architectures, operating systems, and security vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex security issues in simple terms.
