    We are seeking a Full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team. This person will be responsible for managing overnight care for patients in the hospital/ICU. The ideal candidate must be mature, motivated, and have excellent communication skills. We offer great benefits after 60 days of employment.
    Qualifications:
    • A minimum of 2-5 yrs previous technical experience is essential.
    • The ability to multi-task and work independently.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Comfort and experience with computers.
    • Positive outlook and ability to follow written and verbal communications.
    • Ability to maintain patient records.

    Skills Required:
    • Small animal restraint and handling.
    • Basic and advanced nursing care.
    • Venipuncture and IV catheterization must be mastered.
    • Ability to calculate and administer specific medications.
    • Lab sample handling and running in-house lab equipment.
    • Anesthesia monitoring and troubleshooting.
    • General knowledge of veterinary medicine, including basic knowledge of emergency medicine and procedures.
