Laboratory Technicians: 1. Complete Chain-of-Custody forms and collect urine specimens for drug screening for routine urinalysis and drug screening. 2. Perform venipunctures, including associated requisition forms. 3. Perform computer data entry.

To be qualified for assignment under this Contract, laboratory technicians shall:1. Possess a four-year H.S.

diploma, or equivalent, anda) Two years of appropriate full-time experience or training in a clinical laboratory, orb) Eight credits from an accredited college or university, including laboratorycoursework in biology, chemistry, or medical technology, orc) A satisfactory equivalent combination of (a) and (b) above.

However,all candidates must have a four-year high school diploma or itseducational equivalent.2. Demonstrate proficiency in performing venipuncture.
