    Education:
    Bachelors in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering (May 2024 graduates can apply)

    Experience:
    Internship/Full Time experience at an automotive supplier.


    Role:
    Long term contract


    Pay:
    $32-34/hr ($66-70K/yr)

    Position Description:
    Drive development and/or installation of direct and indirect labor standards and methods.
    Track labor - RTO's, off standards, efficiencies, etc. Help generate presentations to Global IE to request labor authorizations.
    Conduct Job Ergonomics evaluations; support workstation and packaging design reviews
    Analyze process constraints and conduct equipment cycle time analysis.
    Provide input to constraint decks; actively support constraint working-meetings and leadership report outs.
    Analyze plant work methods and standards and recommend improvements / efficiencies
    Support cost estimates of new or revised methods and standards
    Review proposed changes in plant layout, processes, material handling, routing, etc. and help make recommendations
    Conduct time and motion/MODAPTS/GSPAS studies and review employee proposals and suggestions.
    Ensure work processes are correctly documented in APT / time studies, especially when changes take place.
    Develop headcount maps for current and future models. Lead job methodization and process allocations
    Interface with Production Supervision and the UAW to help work through concerns
    Report out over-cycles and document plans for cycle time improvement
    Prepare input for annual budget; support manning/RTO and capacity/demand forecasts.
    Help maintain capacity planning documents - capacity strategy, capacity statement, volume worksheets.
