    Virtus Healthcare Staffing Seeks Dedicated Ortho/Spine RN for Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA



    Are you a passionate RN with a desire to provide exceptional care to orthopedic and spine patients?

    Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a premier Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA to find a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Ortho/Spine unit. In this role, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing a variety of orthopedic and spinal procedures.

    About the Opportunity:

    This is an exciting opportunity for a driven RN to contribute to a dynamic team within a Level II Trauma Center. You will work alongside dedicated physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including pre-operative, post-operative, and ongoing monitoring.
    • Administer medications, fluids, and blood products intravenously and via other routes as prescribed.
    • Assist surgeons during procedures and provide sterile instrumentation.
    • Implement physician-ordered treatments, including wound care, pain management, and physical therapy interventions.
    • Educate patients and families on their conditions, treatment plans, and post-operative care instructions.
    • Monitor vital signs and implement interventions to maintain patient stability.
    • Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).
    • Maintain a safe and sterile work environment.
    • Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate care.

    Qualifications:

    • Active and unrestricted Washington State RN license.
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a progressive orthopedic or spine setting, preferably within a Level II Trauma Center.
    • Strong understanding of orthopedic and spinal conditions, surgical procedures, and post-operative care protocols.
    • Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
    • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
    • Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) are mandatory.
