    Description

    We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key senior member of our network infrastructure operations team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing our network & security systems to ensure maximum performance, availability, and security, as well as providing technical guidance and support to other network engineers and IT staff.

    Responsibilities:

    • Leverage emerging technologies to design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions that align with business requirements and standards.
    • Lead and mentor a team of network engineers, providing cross-training, technical guidance, and support.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network architecture standards and best practices.
    • Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve network performance and efficiency.
    • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex network issues across multiple platforms and technologies.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations, processes, policies, and procedures.
    • Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions with minimal disruption to business operations.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements related to network security and data privacy.
    • Monitor network performance and capacity using various tools and methods, proactively identifying, and addressing potential issues.
    • Manage and maintain network devices, software, and configurations, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.
    • Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely response to network-related incidents and emergencies, as well as off-hours maintenance windows.

    Qualifications :

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Masters degree preferred.
    • 10+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on designing and managing enterprise-level networks.
    • Expert level knowledge in network protocols, standards, and technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, SD-WAN, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and QoS.
    • Proficiency in network hardware and software platforms, including Cisco routers, Cisco Nexus and Catalyst switches, cross-platform firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
    • Exposure to next-gen network (NGN) technologies like SDWAN, SDN, automation etc
    • Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, encryption, identity management and access control.
    • Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as Wireshark, PRTG, and Cisco DNA.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience with cloud-based network services, such as Cloudflare, Zscaler, AWS, Azure and Cato Networks a plus.
    • CCNP, CCIE or equivalent certification is preferred.
    • US Citizenship is Required for this role
