Details

Position: Stepdown Intermediate Care Department - Full-time Nights

Schedule: 36 hours per week; 7PM - 7:30AM with rotating weekends and holidays
Hospital: Ascension Providence Southfield
Location: Southfield, MI

Responsibilities

Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.

Aid with movement and placement of patients.
Assist patients with personal care and daily living activities.
Report findings or changes in conditions to nursing staff.
Document necessary records.
Maintain patient rooms clean, orderly, and medical equipment

Requirements

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
Nurse Aide credential from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry preferred.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable job-specific experience required.
Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
