We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced software engineer with a strong background in AI/ML to join the QuestaSim (Simulation) R&D team at Siemens EDA. In this role, you will:

• AI/ML-driven algorithms and solutions to enhance simulation tools' performance and capabilities.
• Contribute to Building: State-of-the-art engines and components, integrating machine learning techniques into simulation and verification workflows.
• Develop and Enhance: Production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting and improving existing codebases.
• Solve Complex Problems: In collaboration with a senior group of engineers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Apply Technical Expertise: AI/ML frameworks, data-driven problem solving, and traditional simulation technologies to achieve project milestones.
• Drive Innovation: Within the team while staying self-motivated, disciplined, and focused.

Requirements:

• Experience: Conceptualizing, defining, architecting, and implementation of an open-ended problem scope or new ideas.
• Hands-on Experience: AI/ML techniques, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and reinforcement learning.
• Programming Skills: C/C++ and Python, along with strong foundations in algorithms and data structures.
• Machine Learning Knowledge: Machines learning and deep learning frameworks.
• Understanding: Compiler Concepts, Optimizations, and parallel computing.
• UNIX and LINUX Experience: Working on UNIX and/or LINUX platforms.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Independence: Proven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results.

Good to Have:

• Digital Electronics Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Digital Electronics and concepts related to SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL.
• Simulation Technologies: Exposure to Simulation technologies or Formal-based Verification methodologies is a plus.

Education:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.

The salary range for this position is $105,100 to $189,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
