LHH is looking for a direct hire Trademark Paralegal for a firm and they can sit in Ann Arbor, Bloomfield Hills, Chicago, Detroit, Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, or Lansing.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilize comprehensive knowledge of domestic and foreign trademark prosecution to manage trademark portfolios and coordinate U.S. and foreign trademark registration efforts.
• Handle all aspects of U.S. trademark prosecution, including preparing and filing necessary documents with the USPTO.
• Conduct trademark clearance searches and assist with infringement and clearance investigations.
• Correspond with clients and foreign counsel regarding trademark prosecution and maintenance matters.
• Prepare and file trademark documents with WIPO and U.S. Customs and Border Patrol.
• Assist with trademark enforcement matters, including oppositions, cancellations, and cease & desist letters.
• Perform due diligence on trademark portfolios and monitor attorney dockets to manage deadlines effectively.
• Maintain accurate records in trademark database (PATTSY) and generate reports as needed.
• Other duties as necessary to meet departmental and client needs.

• Salary range from $75,000 $90,000 per year.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in the legal industry or a Legal Assistant Certificate from an ABA approved institution. Significant work experience may be able to take place of degree.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and ability to quickly learn new applications.
• Experience with trademark clearance databases and research tools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fastpaced environment.

Pay Details: $75,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
