    We are seeking applicants with3-5 years of air quality permitting and compliance experience

    who are detail-oriented and self-motivated.

    Division

    As our new Air Quality Consultant you will be part of the Air Sciences Group, which is part of Rambolls Environment & Health Division.

    This group consists of people who are passionate about air quality and assisting Rambolls clients with their most challenging problems.

    The Air Sciences Group consults with clients across various industries on a range of topics, including but not limited to emissions estimation, air dispersion modeling, human health risk assessment, climate change, climateaction planning,climateadaptation/resiliency,sustainability initiatives,permitting, and compliance.

    Your key tasks and responsibilities may include:
    Preparing air quality permit applications and environmental impact reports
    Estimating emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources
    Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations
    Performing statistical and geospatial analyses of air quality data
    Analyzing pollution control measures
    Conducting air monitoring and indoor air quality analysis
    Conducting air quality and greenhouse gas analyses
    Working as a team to contribute technical skills on complex projects
    Conducting computer modeling of air pollution dispersion

    For this role, your starting point is:
    B.S. or M.S.

    in Chemical, Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering or science discipline (air quality course work is a plus) with a GPA of 3.

    5 or higher
    3-5 years of air quality permitting and compliance experience
    Strong computing skills including high level use of spreadsheets and word processing
    Strong written/verbal communication, problem-solving and organization skills
    Demonstrated capabilities in understanding, interpreting, and applying environmental regulations to real-world situations
    Programming, database and GIS skills are preferred but not required
    Monitoring experience would be a plus
