    JOB SUMMARY:

    A Nuclear Medicine Tech that is competent in usual hospital imaging procedures using analog and digital computers and in radiopharmaceutical preparation.

    Proficiency in nuclear cardiology is required. Has clinical supervisory and teaching responsibilities. Acts as Assistant Radiation Safety Officer.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1. High school graduate. 2. Completion of Nuclear Medicine program with ARRT or NMTCB certification. 3. Four years experience in clinical nuclear medicine technology. 4. Four years experience in nuclear medical cardiology technology. 5. State of California certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required. 6. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required and must be maintained.
