    This position requires a high level of customer contact and phone skills and provides support for customers on the portfolio accounting system of FHN Financial. Analysts assist customers with monthly accounting reconciliation issues of the investment portfolio, updating monthly trade activity and processing re-runs to update and/or correct the initial reports rendered. Analysts train customers to navigate the website, perform online maintenance, access monthly management reports and run analytical reports. Analysts create additional reports and files for the sales representatives and portfolio accounting clients as requested. This position is also responsible for maintaining updates within FHN Financial databases. An extensive knowledge of accounting, fixed income products and Microsoft Office along with an aptitude for learning the various systems used by FHN Financial is required.

    Required Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting or Related Fields
    • Prior experience with Yieldbook, Bloomberg, and Excel spreadsheets is preferred.
    • The position also requires experience that indicates an understanding of different types of fixed income investments
    • Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
    • Excellent computer skills with knowledge of email functions and Microsoft Office.
    • The ability to maintain organization while multi-tasking.
    • Ability to work independently without direct supervision while under pressure to meet deadlines.
