Responsibilities - What you'll be tasked with:
TranSystems' Orlando, Florida location is offering a position for an Engineer 1 to join our Roadway Practice.
This Engineer 1 will work within our roadway team, contributing to various duties including those outlined below.
Tasks involve Plan preparation Quantity calculation Geometric design Drainage design MOT Specifications, cost estimates, and other relevant activities Utilization of software such as Microstation, Geopak, MS Office, and other design tools. Collaborative work with fellow engineers, technicians, planners, and surveyors.
Individuals with a background in preliminary engineering or detailed plan and specification development are preferred, demonstrating strong technical abilities, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and the capacity to thrive in a team setting on multidisciplinary projects Qualifications - Your assets to our firm: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program Proficiency in CADD Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs Understanding of FDOT plan preparation requirements for roadway projects.

EIT certification Prior internship exposure in roadway, bridge, drainage, construction inspection, and/or lighting Proficiency in MicroStation and Open Roads Design Featured Benefits:
