    Job Summary:

    The Prayer & Care Line Specialist will report directly to the Supervisor of Prayer & Care Line and will be responsible for answering all aspects of the call center.

    The Prayer & Care Line Specialist's main responsibility is to pray and intercede for all incoming prayer requests.

    Serve as motivated team member, able to work alone or with other volunteers; responding appropriately to all prayer request received from our listeners.

    This role will also include capturing data related to listeners prayer request.

    Our monthly statistical Prayer Report is a vital tool for the entire radio station in understanding the needs of the communities we serve.

    *This position is 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday, hours 1PM-5PM*
    Essential Functions: Prayer & Care Line Call CenterCreates quality responses within production goals with excellent verbal and written skills in HMG's styleResponsible for recording and entering data in various applications Work alongside other volunteers for the functions of the Prayer & Care LinePrayerResponds to inbound and outbound phone calls, social media requests, and other type of contacts associated with the Prayer & Care Line.

    Communicates in complex emotional situations, accountable for legal and ethical boundaries in responseReceive and pray for concerns and requests from individuals in listener coverage areasResponsible for follow up calls to previous callers of the Prayer & Care LineRespond and track prayer request received via the God Listens applicationMaintain a clean area and a peaceful environment for anyone desiring a place to pray.

    Attend Training for the Prayer & Care LineCollaborate with the Supervisor of Prayer and Care Line to provide opportunities for the prayer line volunteers to enrich their prayer livesMaintain confidentiality AdministrationResponsible for maintaining an accurate report of incoming prayer requestsResponsible for meeting periodically with Supervisor of Prayer and Care Line and Prayer & Care Line CoordinatorsDedicated to serving with Prayer & Care Line volunteers and front desk teamDemonstrated FaithPray for coworkers in team meetingsParticipate in Sharathon, PowerDrive and Thankathon, and pray for donors over the phone as needed Participate in ministry wide Christian bible studiesAttend weekly Staff Gatherings for prayer and devotions Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

    Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ. Maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside the organization. Maintains a non-denominational approach when praying for listeners who call in Non-

    Spiritually grounded and working knowledge of scripturesPossesses a genuine concern for all people, and capacity to relate with all people in a sensitive, respectful wayMust have studied and applied the Christian faith through a minimum of 3 years of bible studyAbility to offer Christian prayer in group settings Exhibit a life and service that is in full accord with Holy Bible and HMGA love and appreciation for our style of Christian radio ministryHeart for Christian ministryStrong moral characterHas a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
