Description
Demonstrate advanced administrative expertise and clinical skills. Coordinate patient admissions and transfers, manage staffing requirements, and address staffing concerns with appropriate management. Act as a valuable clinical and administrative resource for healthcare providers, staff, patients, and families. Conduct regular clinical and staff rounds, streamline patient care processes, offer support to staff, and actively participate in enhancing clinical practices, quality, safety, service, and workflow efficiency. Manage clinical projects, contribute to committees, and drive continuous improvement.
It is preferred to hold a Bachelor's degree in nursing. Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program, such as the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA), is advantageous but not mandatory. Additional educational requirements may apply for specific services or positions. Must currently possess an unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license from the State Board of Nursing of the relevant practice location, or hold multistate licensure in Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) states. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a must, and certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are preferred. Must obtain and maintain any necessary department-specific certifications.
