We are looking for Front End Software Engineers who love using cutting-edge open source frameworks and emerging technologies.

As a Capital One Software Engineer, you will be at the forefront of driving a major transformation within our company.

What You'll Do:

• Work with a team of experienced developers to create distributed microservices and full stack systems
• Develop Front End Applications using a testdriven development approach
• Lead the technical design and development of crossfunctional, multiplatform application systems
• Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, participate in technology communities, and mentor other engineers
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloudbased solutions that provide powerful experiences and empower millions of Americans financially
• Use programming languages like JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and Java, along with open source frameworks, RESTful web services, and crossbrowser/crossdevice development

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience (Internship experience does not apply)

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service
• 3+ years of experience in open source frameworks
