    Program ManagerDuration: 8-month contractLocation: Portland, OR (hybrid)

    Pay Range:
    $106.96 $110.19 per hourThe Program Manager will spearhead the FERC Order 898 implementation, revolutionizing the FERC uniform system of accounts. The primary responsibility will be project management, overseeing various project streams impacting approximately 1,500 employees. This role demands a blend of project management expertise, system implementation proficiency, and a solid grounding in accounting principles.


    Position Responsibilities:
    Lead the scope, design, and implementation of the FERC Order 898 project, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
    Manage multiple project streams and their interactions, facilitating meetings across accounting, finance, procurement, IT, regulatory, and compliance groups.
    Track project status, identify issues, and provide timely updates to the governance steering committee.
    Collaborate closely with department leads (~10) to ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
    Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed to support project decision-making and problem-solving.


    Position Requirements:


    Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience of +5 years in project management, business, system implementation, or related field.

    Preferred certifications include PMP (Project Management Professional) and CPA (Certified Public Accountant).Project management experience at large entities, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex organizational structures and stakeholder landscapes.

    Proven track record in system implementation, with the capability to lead end-to-end project cycles effectively.
    Exposure to accounting principles and processes, enabling informed decision-making and effective communication with accounting teams.
    Experience in asset accounting, enhancing understanding of asset-related financial processes.
    Familiarity with public companies subject to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), facilitating compliance efforts within the project scope.
    Background in complex IT environments, facilitating seamless integration of new systems with existing infrastructure.
