    Registered Nurse Primary Care Clinic

    The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients.

    The Clinic RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members in an outpatient clinic setting.

    Clinic RNs are pivotal members of the care delivery team headed by the physician and have specialized knowledge, skills and ability pertinent to ambulatory care patient needs.

    Scope of performance includes prioritization and triage of care delivery, implementing established standing orders and protocols, performing procedures and therapies consistent with training and licensure.

    Clinic RN will float between 2 clinics: Northfield Family Medicine and Green Valley Ranch.

    Duties:
    Triage calls, MyChart messages, and Walk-in Patients. Conduct patient education in regards to medication management (teaching, self-injection training, medication reconciliation). Be a medication safety champion, and a clinical resource for medical assistants.

    Shift Details:
    Fulltime - 40 hours per week / Monday - Friday: 8-5

    ASN / ADN from an accredited program with the ability to obtain your BSN from an accredited program within four (4) years of hire unless you possess a minimum of fifteen (15) years of proven continuous Registered Nurse experience in an acute care setting, required

    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN). One year experience in a clinic setting or inpatient acute hospital setting with all age groups.
