aeSolutions, a provider of Safety and Control Systems in multi-industry applications, is looking for an Automation Control Specialist for our Plant Protection Systems team.

The person in this position will join one of the industry leaders in Process Safety and Automation Project Solutions, and will support projects throughout the country, serving as control systems specialist developing, configuring, and integrating systems.

This person will also lead others in the design of system hardware solutions, system configuration, and Human Machine Interface (HMI).

This person will work collaboratively with our clients during all phases of the project including concept and system definition, detailed engineering and procurement, equipment installation, commissioning, and startup.

Success in this position will be evaluated by delivering the desired outcomes for our clients as defined in the project scope, budget, and schedule.

Performance will also be evaluated for quality and compliance with industry and Company standards.

aeSolutions will provide the person in this role opportunities to build their control skills as well as growth in project execution and process safety knowledge.

Other opportunities for growth and development (e.g. strengthen client relationships, and learning additional tools and platforms) will be part of a specific personal development plan.

Experience as defined above is required to be demonstrated with successful control system project completion using at least one of the following systems:

Rockwell Automation

Siemens

Triconex

Emerson

Experience in more than one of these systems is preferred.


Qualifications / Experience:
A Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable technical degree, plus at least 5 years additional experience,

or

10 years of documented relevant industrial automation and control experience for non-degreed candidates

Proficiency with at least one of the following systems: Rockwell Automation, Siemens, Triconex, or Emerson

Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, & MS Office software

Knowledge of Safety Instrumented Systems or Burner Management Systems is preferred

The willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Valid driver's license required
