    As an MRI Technologist at NCG Associates, you will play a crucial role in performing high-quality MRI scans to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

    Responsibilities

    Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients
    Position patients correctly and ensure their comfort and safety during the scanning process
    Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
    Ensure proper functioning of MRI equipment and report any malfunctions or issues
    Administer contrast agents as needed for enhanced imaging
    Demonstrate proficiency in various MRI techniques and protocols
    Accurately document patient information and scan results in electronic medical records
    Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality
    Continuously expand knowledge and skills through professional development opportunities

    Requirements

    Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
    Certification as an MRI Technician from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    State licensure as an MRI Technician
    Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience Experience
    Thorough understanding of MRI scanning techniques, protocols, and safety measures
    Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting MRI equipment
    Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
    Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
    Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    Familiarity with electronic medical records systems
    Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
    Current
    BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
