Medical Assistant/Phlebotomists are essential team members, requiring flexibility, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. Building strong relationships with our members and assisting in assessing their health conditions are key responsibilities.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Ensuring efficient patient flow and assisting providers
    • Delivering exceptional patient experiences
    • Obtaining vital signs and conducting screenings
    • Ordering supplies and stocking exam rooms
    • Performing routine quality control checks
    • Supporting patients via phone and home-based care
    • Performing various medical procedures and tests
    • Ensuring cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms
    • Participating in care team meetings
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements:

    • CPR Certification required
    • Medical Assistant certification or registration
    • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role preferred
    • EMR experience necessary
    • Experience working with geriatric patients
    • Phlebotomy Technician Certification a plus
    • Strong communication and customer service skills
    • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a positive attitude
    • Fluency in additional languages as needed
    • US work authorization
    • Alignment with Oak Street Health values
