    Job Description

    The IT Infrastructure Manager reports to the LOGISTEED America, Inc. Sr. General Manager of IT. This role will primarily be responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of the company's cloud and on-premise systems.

    This position will involve ensuring the security, availability and reliability of systems and networks, managing technology vendors, enforcement of IT policies and procedures, and aligning IT infrastructure with the company strategy.

    Manage the IT Infrastructure team, providing guidance, coaching and performance feedback to ensure a high level of professionalism and timely issue resolution.

    Monitor daily operations, including server hardware/software, network and cloud-based systems.

    Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to establish and maintain effective IT service management processes and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry best practices (e.g., ITIL framework).

    Oversee the incident, request, problem and change management processes, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with involved parties and end users.

    Identify and implement process improvements and optimizations to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT Infrastructure team.
    Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential benefits to the IT infrastructure environment.
    Develop and maintain procedures, workflows and documentation to ensure efficient and consistent support processes.
    Handle escalated issues and complex technical issues, providing guidance and support to other IT teams.
    Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
    Provide hands-on technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for a wide range of IT systems, hardware and software.
    Participate/lead in planning and implementing IT projects, including upgrades, migrations and deployments while ensuring minimal disruption to services.
    Support

    onboarding/offboarding

    utilizing existing technologies and possible future implementation of orchestration technologies.
    Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
    Monitor and support the execution of IT operational policies, procedures and standards to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
    Manage vendor relationships ensuring service level agreements are met and maximizing value for the company.
    Implement and enforce security measures and policies to protect the company against internal and external cybersecurity threats.
    Develop and maintain disaster recovery/business continuity plans.
    Monitor infrastructure and implement proactive measures to identify and resolve vulnerabilities and performance issues.
    Ability to travel as business needs dictate

    This position manages all key direct reports of the department and is responsible for the performance management of the employees within that department.

    Preferred Qualifications, Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities and Working Conditions
    Previous Work Experience
    Minimum of 5 years' experience in infrastructure management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Proven experience in supervising IT personnel and providing support in a complex IT environment.
    Strong technical knowledge across multiple IT domains including network infrastructure, operating systems, hardware and software applications.
    Education and Certifications
    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
    Experience Requirements and Preferences
    Principles and processes for providing customer service including quality standards for services and evaluation of end user satisfaction.

    Work Environment

    Work time will be spent in an office setting, but some time may be necessary in a warehouse environment around moving powered industrial equipment where temperatures are hot or cold (seasonally), and may be subjected to loud noises.
