Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. The Delivery Truck Driver at Frazer reports to the Distribution Supervisor, and is responsible for representing our company in a professional and respectful manner to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. Runs local errands, shuttles customers to/from the airport and local hotels, hot shot parts pick-ups and drop off to local vendors. Periodically delivers and picks up out of town customer vehicles. Demonstrates a commitment to customer service, internally and externally.
This position is expected to actively live out Frazer Core Values while working with Frazer employees, vendors, and customers to help achieve team, department, and corporate goals. Responsible for learning and reinforcing safe and proper work procedures while actively following Frazer Safety programs and other policies outlined in the Employee Handbook.
What Does a Week in the Life of the Delivery Truck Driver Look Like?

• Performs non-emergency driving of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles, medium duty trucks, and other vehicles as needed.
• Delivers new EMS vehicles to customers by driving them over the road (potentially across states for thousands of miles) and either driving or flying home on commercial airlines.
• Demonstrates basic vehicle features and options when delivering units to customers.
• Exhibits a friendly, service oriented demeanor and communication style with customers while acting with a sense of urgency.
• Delivers EMS vehicles to local shops for wheel alignment, muffler installation, state inspections, or other services as needed.
• Delivery and pick up of EMS vehicles that need warranty work done at the Dealerships.
• Picks up customers from the airport and transports the customers to and from the facility.
• Picks up parts from local stores as needed for purchasing, maintenance needs, or office supplies. May need to make decisions on where to find parts or pick alternative parts that are suitable for the need.
• Supports service department's customer vehicle deliveries and pickups.
• Inspects truck equipment and supplies, such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water. May need to provide basic maintenance such as fluids, wiper blades, jump starting batteries, changing a flat tire, ect.
• Properly secures cargo on company trucks during transit to and from the plant.
• Maintains Vehicle Fleet maintenance logs and schedules periodic service and repairs for fleet vehicles.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as required.
• Processes monthly expense reports timely.

Required Education and Experience:

• High school diploma.
• Good driving record and a current, valid state driver license.
• Ability to drive an EMS vehicle that has capacity of up to two (2) tons or less.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and verbally communicate simple instructions, short correspondence and memos in English.
• Knowledgeable of basic automotive maintenance procedures.
• Must have knowledge of Motor Vehicle Regulations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• CDL is preferred but not a requirement.
• Delivery driver experience.

Oh, and $alary
Of course, we didn't forget salary... Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $ $27.00 per hour depending on education, certifications, and experience.
Work Schedule
The Delivery Truck Driver will work Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
