Biometric data used for time clocks, such as numerical data or fingerprints or thumbprints, or data related to physical measurements of handprints, thumbprints or fingerprints.

Temperature data and health screening information necessary to comply with public health orders related to public health emergencies, such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Photographs submitted by employees used solely for the purpose of health screening programs that use facial recognition software.

Medical results and health related data resulting from medical testing for COVID-19 and from any necessary related medical examination.

Airline, rental car, and hotel account/membership information.

Internet or other electronic network activity information, including, but not limited to, browsing history, search history, and information regarding a consumers interaction with an Internet Web site, application, or advertisement.

We will not collect any additional categories of PII or use your PII collected for any other purpose without providing you with additional notice consistent with the CCPA.

**Position Summary**

The Cook prepares and serves quality meals for patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

**Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements**

Must be a high school graduate or equivalent

One (1) year experience in food preparation preferred

Must have experience in preparing and cooking food in large quantities

**Specific Job Requirements**

Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action

Must be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility

Must have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department

Must perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation

Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.

Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information

Must understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures

Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Cares *Code of Conduct* and completes mandatory *Code of Conduct* and other appropriate compliance training

**Essential Functions**

Must be able to prepare and serve meals that are appetizing in both taste and appearance, and appropriate for each patient

Must be knowledgeable of ordered diets as well as food consistency

Must be able to ensure food and supplies for the next meal are readily available

Must be able to serve meals and snacks in a timely manner

Must be able to utilize production tools and recipes provided to prepare meals and snacks

Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients

Must be able to assist in the evacuation of patients

Must demonstrate dependable, regular attendance

Must be able to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment

Must be able to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team

Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours

Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
