    Seeking a general Engineering Lead and Group Engineering Lead.
    Responsible for leading Manufacturing Engineering functions for powertrain/propulsion programs.

    Their primary role is to guide their Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet all objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost for both new model (NM), non-new model (NNM), and adaptation programs.


    Main responsibilities include:


    Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studiesOversee engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), sourcing, technical evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of manufacturing equipment.

    Manage and prioritize the Non-New Model (NNM) powertrain programs requests and ensure that approved programs are completed on time and within budgetManage all New Model (NM) programs facilities aspects including site preparation and machine installationLead activities on programs ensuring successful implementation and tracking of the Iron Triangle (Scope, Timing, and Cost)Lead their team in the implementation of company's methodology, supporting all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools and guide systematic root cause problem solving methods to attack risksDevelopment/improvement of process and equipment standards related to manufacturing engineeringSupport the Propulsion Manufacturing Plants located in Kokomo Indiana while maintaining a relationship with the North American and Global CoC initiatives.

    Main responsibilities include:


    Perform assessments for process changes and related investment requirements for cost studiesOversee engineering scope definition, Requests for Quotes (RFQs), sourcing, technical evaluations, design, manufacturing, and installation of manufacturing equipment of electric hairpin stators and rotor assembly equipment.

    Manage all New Model (NM) programs facilities aspects including site preparation and machine installationLead activities on programs ensuring successful implementation and tracking of the Iron Triangle (Scope, Timing, and Cost)Lead their team in the implementation of company's methodology, supporting all activities including deployment of advanced SPW tools and guide systematic root cause problem solving methods to attack risksDevelopment/improvement of process and equipment standards related to manufacturing engineering specifically for electric hairpin stator and rotor assembly.

    Lead industrialization for process design and installation of electric motor hairpin Stator and Rotor line manufacturing lines in Kokomo Indiana.

    Drive standardization across plants in all regionsLead procurement, design, build, install, qualification and launch of facilities and process supporting equipment and infrastructureSupport company initiativesRequirements:

    Basic Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical equivalentMinimum 3-5 years manufacturing experienceMinimum of 3 years experience in with electric hairpin stator and rotor manufacturing.

    Must be able to work and interact with all levels of the organizationMust have strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skillsAbility to analyze, interpret and present data to all levels of the company in easily understandable formatsAbility to implement principles and ability to lead effectively in a bargaining unit environmentHigh demonstration of leadership and teamwork characteristics.

    Ability to embrace cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing processes.
    Demonstrated abilities to plan and execute large scale projects in time and budget.
    Ability to effectively lead, teach, coach and mentor employees.
    Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop the best teams.
    Flexibility to work all shiftsDaily, weekend and holiday availabilityFlexibility to work at off-site locations.
    International travel required, US passport or equivalent required.

    Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and attack them to closure.

    Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning a plus.

    Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel intermediate or advance knowledgePreferred Qualifications:
    Advanced degree preferredAbility to translate technical data and analysis into an executive summary format for presentationPowertrain Manufacturing experience a plusSpecific E-motor skill sets:Experience in high volume electrical motor manufacturing including:


    STATOR:
    Paper folding/slot insertionWinding experience for stators - Hair-pin forming/bending experience preferredLaser welding copper (hair-pins and buss-bars)Impregnation/trickling of stator windingsElectrical testing of finished stator


    ROTOR:
