    Description
    Akkodis is seeking several junior to senior-level HiL Validation Engineers for full-time roles in the Detroit Metropolitan area.

    Qualified candidates will possess more than three years of professional experience in hardware-in-loop testing (bench) accompanied by Python and/or CAPL scripting for automation tasks.

    Helpful preferences include dSPACE Scalexio, ECUs, and any prior exposure to Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. Any model-based development utilizing MATLAB/Simulink is an added plus.

    Salary Range:
    $80,000/yr – $120,000/yr (commensurate based on experience level)

    HiL Validation Engineer job responsibilities include:

    Supporting the product development and system integration processes by developing test procedures for automated execution, implementing tests, and validation, documenting and reviewing execution reports, reporting incidents, and tracking software updates to fix issues.

    Will develop expertise in software test design and has advanced knowledge in vehicle functional partitioning, electrical and communication architectures, and embedded software processes.

    Requires close collaboration with feature owners, engineering, and suppliers to develop a strong understanding of the vehicle functions and implement appropriate test design strategies for early identification of defects and provide evidence of defect elimination.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    A bachelor's degree is required in any engineering major with a preference for electrical, mechanical, or computer science/engineering.

    Professional HiL validation/testing experience (bench) while utilizing your moderate to advanced Python and/or CAPL scripting talents for automation is required.

    Moderate to advanced Vector CAN (CANoe and/or CANalyzer) messaging tools.
    Experience with ECUs, dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, and ADAS backgrounds are preferential.
    Stellar interpersonal skills.
