    What You'll Do

    22Squared is looking for a progressive leader with a passion for the impact that the creative integration of Data and Analytics can have on marketing. This leader will bring a vision for how the agency and its clients will convert on the data that is available to them; and then bring the needed technology, data science, and reporting building blocks together to bring that vision to life.

    As the agency looks to the future, the individual in this role will work closely with our Chief Media Officer; and collaborate frequently with leaders and teams across the agency — especially Account Management, Media (Planning and Buying), Ad Ops, Ad Tech, Creative, and Strategy — to drive growth and evolution in several key areas outlined below:

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    To our clients:
    • Lead the translation of client business objectives into innovative Data and Analytics solutions that leverage best-in-class technologies and analytical approaches.
    • Drive the strategic evolution of the day-to-day efforts of the agency's Data and Analytics practice and teams, including ensuring the effective delivery and operational excellence of all scoped paid media performance analyses, optimizations, and reporting deliverables
    • Lead the expansion of the agency's book of business with existing clients for Data and Analytics scoped work. Serve as the senior most client-facing person for Data and Analytics, owning and growing the relevant relationships with each client.
    To the agency: agency:
    • Lead the continuous growth of the agency's overall data literacy through technology, process, and training that empowers everyone to think like analysts and sharpen their insights.
    • Continue to grow the agency's brand as a Data and Analytics thought leader with audacious ideas, writing/publication, and presence at key industry events.
    • Lead the agency's Data Management and Governance practice, with a focus on the continuous evolution of our tech stack to meet our needs most effectively.
    • Lead the conversion of analytics and data-use techniques into proprietary analytics products, merchandising them with new and existing clients.
    • Serve as strategic lead in new business pitches, crafting the Data and Analytics point-of-view for the overall pitch strategy and recommendations.
    To our Data and Analytics department:
    • Set the vision for the analytics team and socialize it across the agency.
    • Candidly coach, mentor, and manage the talent for the agency's data management and analytics teams.
    • Nurture and evolve the analytics team's culture.
    • Lead Data and Analytics talent acquisition with an eye for ensuring the agency's priorities and goals for a diverse workforce are being met.
    REQUIREMENTS
    • 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic data use, data management and/or analytics focused management.
    • 5 years leading high performing data management, data science, or measurement strategy teams in a client or stakeholder service environment.
    • Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in a technology, analytics, or marketing business related discipline.
    • Experience implementing and interpreting modern marketing and media measurement technologies and techniques.
    • Experience in an agency or management consulting firm with client-facing experience.
    • Experience converting analytics solutions into repeatable and merchandise-able services.
