- Patrol lobbies, corridors, and public spaces
- Investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
- Detect fires or unsafe conditions
- Evaluate safety equipment and report any damages
- Warn or evict troublemakers as needed
- Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports
- Notify team members and management of suspicious behaviors
- Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in security field a plus
- Ability to work in various environments such as cold, rain, snow, or heat
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders regularly
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
- Think clearly and react quickly in emergencies
- Make conclusions based on facts and on your own personal judgment
- A can-do attitude and a hands-on approach
- A flexible schedule that allows availability days, nights, holidays, and weekends based on the demands of the hotel
