The Tax and Accounting Group is hiring for a
Tax Manager
to be part of our team. This is a permanent position working full-time hrs./week) during tax season and roughly 32 hours per week for the remainder of the year.
Based in Everett, Washington, we serve our community in financial and tax services for individuals, businesses, non-profit entities, estates, and trusts.
We are a tax and accounting firm dedicated to providing our clients with the excellence they deserve.As a valued employee you would be joining our team in a collaborative work environment where we continue to grow in our knowledge and promote healthy work/life balances.
Position requirements:
Minimum of 4 years of public tax accounting experience.
CPA license in good standing with Washington's Board of Accountancy or Enrolled Agent.
Energetic, a self-starter, with a positive attitude.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Time management skills required for managing multiple client engagements.
Desire to share knowledge and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with current clients and promote our services to future clients.
Review complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, and trusts using Axcess Tax, Fixed Assets, Engagement, and Project Management software.
Provide leadership and supervision to staff needs, including tax planning.Provide leadership and supervision to staff
Stay current on CPE training, current tax practices and changes in tax law.
Prepare complex tax returns as needed.
