- Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
- Manage warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory, gate processes, and shipping methods.
- Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals (efficiency, OSD, loading/unloading, etc.)
- Oversee daily operations while controlling and managing inventory and logistics, and hours in all facets to obtain P&L goals and profit plan.
- Address shortages with planner on loads; research all OSD/damage issues with cameras; ensure all work is managed through the work queue. (no paper)
- Review and prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs), workflows, staffing requirements, space allocations, equipment layouts, and action plans that meet company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
- Responsible for reporting and audits such as performance and safety.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.
- Bachelor's degree and prior work experience in a manufacturing environment required.Experience supporting high speed food manufacturing in a supervisory role is a plus.
- Must be able to demonstrate leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills.
- Critical skills include execution, attention to detail, follow-through, conflict resolution, collaboration, building ownership and commitment, developing others, drive for change, tenacity, problem-solving.
- Ability to provide and implement plans, objectives and standards timely.
- The ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
