    **Essential Responsibilities:**

    Model and promote organizational values

    Guide, train, and direct business partners and associates on the execution of HR policies and processes to ensure appropriate legal (EEO, ADA, FMLA, etc.) and corporate compliance

    Conduct effective ER investigations, analyze organizational health issues, and work in partnership with the Business Leaders and Human Resources Manager to develop and execute plans to address problem areas

    Support HR/ER strategy/process for open door related concerns

    Actively recruit in the local market to identify strong performers for hourly positions in the Location

    Lead and guide the new hire and onboarding process for the Location

    Act as a trusted resource to managers and associates on a wide variety of human resource topics and guide employees to people, tools, and resources

    Assist in implementing the organizations performance management process through coaching, educating, and providing feedback

    Proactively provide HR team with support as needed on key initiatives

    Perform additional duties, projects, etc. as necessary

    Demonstrated track record of HR-related, and improved measurable results

    Excellent facilitation, written and verbal communication skills with all levels of management

    Demonstrated ability to influence and coach others, with appropriate self-confidence and presence

    Excellent prioritization, time management, organizational, and follow up skills

    Ability to maximize partnerships by successfully leveraging other functions as necessary

    Think and act independently with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality

    Able to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

    Excellent customer service skills including an ability to be empathetic when appropriate.

    Strong problem-solving skills; must be proactive and take initiative

    **Education / Experience**

    College degree preferred, with an emphasis in Human Resources

    2-3 years generalist experience in Human Resources, **preferably in a Retail Environment.**

    First-hand responsibility for and exposure to recruitment, benefits, training, employee relations, and performance management

    Familiar with federal, state, and local labor regulations

    Open availability and flexibility to work according to the needs of the business, including evenings and weekends
