Description

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Waste/Water Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a variety of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, utilities, and site development. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions. Responsibilities

Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to identify quantities of materials, labor, and equipment required.
Conduct market research to obtain current material, labor, and equipment costs.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, including breakdowns for labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and overhead costs.
Identify and evaluate potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
Participate in bid preparation and presentations to clients.
Track and monitor project costs throughout the construction process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date cost databases.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals are met within budget.
May participate in site visits to assess project complexity and identify potential challenges.
