Job Summary
The Cirrus Aircraft team is on the lookout for an organized and strategic Commodity Lead to join their expanding organization. The Commodity Lead will oversee global procurement and supply chain activities within their assigned commodity group. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams to meet annual objectives, developing category strategies, and negotiating long-term agreements with suppliers, taking charge of the supplier relationship management. The role also entails providing updates to the Executive Leadership Team, categorizing suppliers, and ensuring strategic alignment with company goals.
Key commodities at Cirrus include Avionics, Electrical, Metal Fabrication, Composites, Propulsion, and more.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must have a bachelor's degree and 7 years of strategic sourcing experience or equivalent. Advanced knowledge of supply contracts and strong negotiation skills are essential. Experience in project management and a master's degree are preferred.
