Job Summary
This is a temporary part-time Software Developer position at Monmouth University's Urban Coast Institute. The successful candidate will modernize and add advanced features to the MARCO Ocean Maps Android app.
++Responsibilities
- Enhance MARCO app (Android version) to Material 3 and Jetpack Compose,
- Migrate from ArcGIS Android Kotlin Activity SDK to Jetpack Compose SDK,
- Redesign and implement app in Kotlin Jetpack Compose.
- Caching maps locally to continue viewing when out of cell range.
