    Design Engineer – Trailer & Truck Body Industry

    Company: Pine Hill Trailers

    • Work on engineering projects for custom and stock trailer designs & truck bodies for customers across North America
    • Collaborate directly with the Sales team for product development and enhancement
    • Coordinate closely with Manufacturing to ensure efficient implementation of product design
    • Conduct engineering analysis on products
    • Participate in brainstorming sessions for new products and enhancements of existing ones
    • Provide hands-on assistance in designing and engineering new and current products

    Pine Hill Trailers is seeking a skilled Design Engineer to join the dynamic engineering team. The company is currently undergoing expansions to support its continuous growth.

    For more than two decades, Pine Hill Trailers has been catering to the needs of haulers by offering custom and stock trailer designs. Initially catering to the shed hauling sector, the company has expanded its services to provide trailer and truck bed solutions for various industries and consumers.     Our Ideal Design Engineer

    • Experienced: Possession of a Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 2 years of expertise in Mechanical Design/Engineering is preferred, accompanied by proficiency in metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
    • Skilled: Proficiency in 3D design software - SolidWorks familiarity is advantageous. Prior experience in Trailer or similar product design is beneficial. Knowledge of Epicor (ERP) software is a plus.
    • Collaborative: Effective collaboration with other departments to exchange information, ideas, schedules, and address challenges.
    • Responsible: Demonstrates accountability and takes pride in the quality of work, exhibiting dedication beyond basic requirements.
    • Team Player: Willingness to acknowledge errors humbly, driven by a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes. Possesses strong interpersonal skills.
    • Down to Earth: Adaptable to a casual, family-friendly workspace, catering to a diverse group of employees and customers from conservative Anabaptist communities. Maintains a professional and neat office atmosphere.
