Laser Precision, LLC is currently seeking a candidate to fulfill a position as a Grinder in our Welding Department.

Job Type: Full-time; 1st Shift 7am-3:30pm Monday – Friday with opportunities for overtime.

Job Overview: As a Grinder in our Welding Department, you will be responsible for the following:

• You will be trained on various hand tools/hand grinders in our Welding department as required to support the overall success of Laser Precision.
• You will be moving, bending, reaching in a fairly quick paced environment so the ability to switch gears and think on your feet is a plus.

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write English.
• Previous experience would be a plus
• Must be able to think on your feet and adapt to a changing environment
• Eager to bring your skillset into an advanced manufacturing facility.
• Familiarity with hand tools, such as grinders, sanders and drills would be a plus
• Ability to handle physical workload, must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a work shift.
• Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk.
• Light computer work entering jobs

Physical Requirements and Duties:

• Ability to reach, turn, twist, and walk.
• Ability to stand for the duration of a work shift.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs. at a time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift experience a plus.
• 3-6 months working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
• Experience working on a computer a plus.
